The Lap Dog Fund is a pending 501c3 nonprofit. 

LapDog was born from the realization, after many years in the veterinary profession, that costs have become extreme for even routine veterinary care.  We love our profession but many, quite frankly, cannot afford proper care for their pets.  In this day and age of corporate takeovers of veterinary practices, the problem is getting worse.   We have always strived to keep costs as low as possible while providing high quality care.  This has become increasingly difficult to do ( from a business standpoint)  as operating costs have soared.  This combined with the pressures all of us are feeling from a daily living expense standpoint (grocery store, gas pump, utilities, rent) ... many struggle when their pet needs medical attention.

LapDog is the charity wing of  County Seat Animal Hospital. 

County Seat is a Christian veterinary hospital serving Hernando and Desoto County, although clients come from as far away as Florida.   Supporting LapDog will allow us to assist those families who need financial assistance for expensive diagnostics and procedures.
